![[image]](http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/dogeatdog11/Rook/1.png) Would you like to see something strange?
Name: Rook Gender: Male Breed: Irish Wolfhound Age: 5 Years Old
Personality: No one quite knows what Rook was like before he got infected, and you sure as Hell won’t get a straight answer from him if you probe him for more details. That is, if he allows you to talk for long enough to ask such a thing – He’s impatient, snappy, and overall a complete control freak.
His mind is clearly unstable, but the problem lies in the fact that he can’t recognise this himself. In his eyes, he is the only dog in the whole city that makes sense – And he almost refuses to believe that the disease he carries has affected him at all. For whilst he now can’t really go out in the daytime and he is almost constantly plagued by a vicious fever, he accepts his slight increase in strength and different way of thinking – Often with bad consequences for anyone else involved.
In all respects, he should be a terrible leader. He’s bloodthirsty and violent and doesn’t think twice about killing whatever dog may be unfortunate enough to cross his path, and yet even so he remains possessing an insatiable urge for power and domination over others. He set up the pack for others like him in the Metro Subway for this very reason – To have lordship over other dogs and feel a sense of superiority. Even though his morals leave a lot to be questioned and he by rights shouldn’t be in charge of anything, he is scarily efficient at running a pack dedicated to one thing – Bringing on the misery and pain of others. He isn’t afraid to get his own paws dirty, and is not the type of dog to send out his henchmen to do his dirty work. Wherever it’s possible, he’ll get into the fight himself and take an active role in continuing for as long as he can, for he thrives on the attention that battles shine on him.
He’s not afraid to throw his weight around, and his considerable size gives him the impression already that he is in some way better than anyone else. He can just about tolerate the company of others if they are in the same sort of mindset that he is, but even then he is likely to turn around and kill you if he feels like it. He has a deep hatred for dogs that aren’t infected like he is, and his ruling style mainly involves asking the pack members to try and contaminate as many canines as possible.
Physical Appearance: The most noticeable thing about Rook is pretty much his large size – His breed naturally stands quite elevated anyway, but even for the standard his kin hold, he’s towards the taller end of the spectrum. His fur is grizzled and matted, and it goes without saying that he has little to no concern with how he looks. This same pelt is coloured a dark grey for the most part, although there are scarcely dotted lighter patches and even a few spots of white here and there.
If it weren’t for his slightly ravaged look, Rook could be quite handsome. His face has an intelligent look about it and his deep brown eyes could have once held a curious intellect, but whatever was there once has now been replaced by his general loathing towards the rest of the world. His legs are thin and gangly, but despite that he is quite strong and his powerful muscles can be seen through his wiry coat. His body is riddled with scars obtained through various fights and accidents, although he wears them as battle trophies rather than blemishes on his already unkempt appearance.
