A little about me!

my name is Isis
but you can call me Maya
i have gone around the sun 13 times
i love music; mostly rock, though
one little brother, whom i really dun like
living with my grandparents, father, brother, and cat
i can't wait to turn 18
the internet is my life

[:] I tend to make my characters like me.
[:] I like to make things pretty, as you can tell from this and my charrie's profile.
[:] I am literate. Illiteracy and chatspeak make my eyes bleed.
[:] I'm more than a bit hyper.
[:] Yes, I love my sugar.
[:] You will often find me telling you that I'm leaving to go eat. I get hungry a lot, and I have a high metabolism.
[:] I often have weird theories. One of them is that when you're a teenager, you have a black hole in your stomach. When you're 40, it explodes.
[:] I am random. And I love every minute of it.
[:] My laptop is busted, at the moment. I have to use my dad's and it's the only working computer in the house. So, yes, there's a bit of trouble there...
[:]I like colors! Rainbows are your friends!
[:] Being predjudiced is not my thing. I'm very open to everything except for clothes and food...

I guess I'll add more later....I dunno...-sheepish smile; hand behind head-

Quest is a serious dog, despite her age. She likes to be alone, so is more of an introvert, and likes to explore. She tends to be very protective of friends, family, and her pack, making open threats that bring out her violent, sadistic, and malicious side. In any given situation, she tries to keep a calm and cool outlook, while staying rational and down-to-earth, getting both sides of the story, if there is one. It’s not that hard to get her to laugh and give a canine smile, though, and it’s not that hard to break her eerily calm exterior to the softer dog inside. She can be very gentle, but rough and dangerous at any given moment; at the drop of a dime. Quest is hyper, but tends to be quiet when around people she doesn’t know, or if she’s in deep thought, she’ll space out for a while, totally tuning everything else out. She’s a smart dog, and kind, but cold and calculating. Even though she’s smart, it can be easy to get this ditsy dog confused.

Quest tends to space out and procrastinate like the lazy little girl she is, but she can be very to-the-point and punctual if the situation calls for it; even early if it’s an emergency or something. She doesn’t tend to be good with others, nor does she seem to have a consciousness; y’know, the little voice inside your head telling you good from bad. That tends to get Quest in trouble. She has a responsible side, but is also very irresponsible at the same time, if possible. She can tend to take things too seriously, though, and that doesn’t seem to be a good thing, really. She likes to stay invisible, not being noticed, as she hates to be the center of attention; it’s unnerving. This bitch is very stealthy and quiet, more liking to explore and wander, to find out new things and the like.

She is very brave and stubborn; her hard head is another thing that gets her in trouble, and her curiosity. Quest loves pups, and will often be found playing with them or watching over them. She’s often called Fruit for her actions, which often don’t seem to have much of a motive…or, at least, an obvious motive. She likes her personal space, aka her ‘Bubble’, and is very truthful in a very blunt way, making it very clear that she doesn’t tend to care about other dogs’ emotions at times and will tell it like it is, not sparing the dogs’ feelings. It may seem like she trusts easily, but don't be fooled. Trust is something that takes a long time to earn with her, as she doesn't trust easily in fear of being hurt by said trusted canine. She just wants to live life to the fullest, YEAH!

Quest is a medium-sized dog. Her ears? Medium. Her eyes? Medium. Her height? She stands at about two feet high. Her eyes are a shallow light brown in color. They’re eyes that try to hide what their owner is truly feeling; eyes that attempt to dig into your psyche through your own vessels, your orbs of light intake. Most of her medium-length fur is a brown color in between dark and light brown. The body build of this girl is very lean and muscular, allowing her to be very swift and agile, despite her size and all, still leaving enough strength to do something with and not be totally useless. Her ears are tipped forward, giving her a childish and curious look, but a serious and attentive appearance, all depending on her mood. She has a brown nose to match her thick and weather-resistant coat. Quest’s muzzle is light brown/tan, going around her eyes in an ‘m’ that has her eyes set under the arches of the letter. There’s a little brown strip that runs down her maw from the center down fold of the ‘m’ to meet with her nose. The color of her maw also flares out over her cheeks to stop at a point. It arches under her jaw to the top base of her neck, where it stops suddenly to be replaced with white. The white then makes a thick strip down her chest, thinning out a little to go across her underbelly. Her forepaws are white, while her back paws are the same color as her mouth. No, not the inside of the mouth, the outside. Her thick tail is darker at the base than the tip; the color lightens as it goes further down the tail until the lightest color on the tail is the color of her muzzle: a light brown/tan color.

A human. Yes, it was a human. He seemed to be rabid to tell the truth. I remember that he had the long stick thing. The lethal thing. It was known to all that if a human were to point it at you, then you would be killed. When I was a pup, the human man pointed it at Daddie. A loud bang resounded, and then Daddie was killed. It was bloody. I watched this with Mommy. Daddie had told us to hide, so we did. The stupid human never suspected that my father had a family. The damned rabid human killed him for the adrenaline rush or something like that. That's what my mother told me, anyways. I wanted to kill him. So I did. I was lucky enough to come across the man. At this time, I was of a year old. He killed my father only five months before this sweet moment. He hadn't died of the disease that I've heard Mommy talk about yet. But he would die by my hands tonight. The moon was full. It was supposed to be the only witness to my henious crime. The blood that I shed in revenge. It was for Daddie. Except, Mommy saw. At that moment, a fire of shame burned in me, coupled with the guilt that knotted my stomach. She saw. That's all I thought. All I could think or do. Until she ran off. I didn't follow. No, I went in the opposite direction. I've never seen her again. If I do, she might run, but I want to tell her why I did it.

Oh well. Now, I've been wandering for a while. It seems that there're no humans left anymore. I had claimed my own territory for a while, but it seems that dogs are even catching the deadly virus. It was the night that I was attacked by one of the infected dogs. I saw her coming, so I ran. Luckily, I escaped with only a few scratches, which were mostly from tripping in my haste. Now, I seek a pack. Hopefully, I'll find one. And soon...
